With the project supported by TÜBİTAK at Bartın University (BARÜ), high-performance methods will be developed for hydrogen production and fuel cell applications.

Studies are continuing at Bartın University (BARÜ) on the efficient and effective use of renewable energy sources. In this context, the project led by Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ahmet Bulut from the Department of Biotechnology at the Faculty of Science has been deemed eligible for support under the TÜBİTAK 1002-B Rapid Support Module program.

The project titled 'Synthesis, Characterization, Catalytic Activity in the Complete Decomposition Reaction of Hydrazine Borane, and Electrochemical Analysis of NiRh Nanoparticles Supported on Cerium-Based Metal-Organic Frameworks (Ce-BTC)' will investigate the parameters affecting hydrogen production and fuel cell applications. In the studies aimed at developing high-performance catalysts, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Mehmet Yurderi from the Department of Electronics and Automation at the Vocational School of Higher Education and postdoctoral researcher Dr. Aykut Çağlar will contribute to the work.
