Bartın University Honored with Award from Turkish Quality Association for Its Visionary Public Administration Project

Bartın University (BARÜ) has been recognized with an award by the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer) for its project that reflects a forward-looking vision of public administration shaping the future.

Organized by the Ankara Branch of the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer), which aims to enhance the management quality of public institutions and raise awareness to strengthen Turkey's competitive capacity, the 25th Public Quality Symposium was held with the theme "Public Administration Shaping the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Twin Transformation." The symposium featured a meaningful award ceremony honoring outstanding projects that contribute to the dissemination of quality principles in public administration. Among the awardees was Bartın University’s Smart Logistics Management System (ALYS) project, implemented in line with the institution’s sustainability vision. The project received the “Inspiring Public Administration Projects” award, underscoring its innovative contribution.

The final evaluation of the ALYS project and its innovative impact on public administration was presented to the participants by Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun.

With its exemplary implementation of digital technologies for sustainable development, BARÜ was honored in the State Universities category for the ALYS project, which exemplifies best practices in public administration.
