BARÜ is third in Türkiye in patent and utility model applications

Bartın University (BARÜ) ranked third in Türkiye with its patent and utility model applications, according to the "Innovation Map of Universities" report prepared by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT).

Bartın University (BARÜ) achieved a significant success in the “Innovation Map of Universities” report published by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT). According to the report, BARÜ ranked 3rd in Turkey regarding the 'Number of University Applications' per 100 patent and utility model applications made from Bartın province between 2010-2024. In the report, which emphasises that 36 out of every 100 applications in Bartın are from universities, BARÜ has once again proven its technological and innovative power to the region.
