BARÜ is the 159th greenest campus in the world and the 9th greenest campus in Turkey

Bartın University (BARÜ) ranked as the 9th best institution in Turkey and the 159th greenest campus in the world in the Green Metric ranking, which evaluates higher education institutions regarding environmental sensitivity and sustainability.

The Green Metric World University Rankings, an international sustainability and environmental awareness platform, has announced its rankings. In the "Green Universities 2022" ranking, which evaluated 1,050 higher education institutions worldwide, 83 universities from Turkey were included.

Bartın University (BARÜ), which continues to make significant efforts in the "Sustainable and Climate-Friendly Campus" category, has improved its position in the ranking. BARÜ achieved 9th position as Turkey's best green campus and climbed to 159th globally.
