BARÜ is among the best in the world in the fields of "Education" and "Engineering"

Bartın University (BARÜ) managed to rank Times Higher Education (THE) 2025 Field Ranking Research Quality 87th in the world and first in Turkey in the field of "Education"; In the field of "Engineering", it ranked 198th in the world and third in Turkey.

"Field-Based Rankings" were announced by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most well-known higher education rating organizations, after the 2025 World University Rankings. In the evaluation made among the higher education institutions that succeeded in entering the 2025 World University Rankings, Bartın University (BARÜ) was among the best in field-based rankings.

In this list, BARÜ ranks 87th in the world in the field of Research Quality indicator "Education"; It achieved significant success by ranking 198th in the field of "Engineering". In addition, BARÜ ranked 148th in the world in the Chemical Engineering subfield and 161st in the world in the Civil Engineering subfield in Research Quality. Thus, in THE 2025 Field-Based General Ranking, BARÜ was ranked in the 401-500 band in the world in the field of "Education" and in the 601-800 band in the field of "Engineering".

BARÜ was ranked among the best in Turkey in 2 fields

In the field-based ranking, 91 higher education institutions from Turkey that were included in the ranking were evaluated. In the ranking in which institutions were examined based on the performance of the last 5 years, BARÜ ranked first in Turkey in Research Quality in the field of "Education". In the "Engineering" field Research Quality indicator, BARÜ once again made us proud and ranked third in Turkey.

In the general evaluation of the same ranking, BARÜ ranked 4th in the field of "Education" together with 2 universities in the 401-500 band; In the field of "Engineering", it shared 11th place with 6 universities in the 601-800 band.
