University Satisfaction Survey is published in Türkiye: BARU is among the top Universities

Bartın University (BARÜ) was ranked 18th in the "General Satisfaction Ranking of State Universities" and in the top 5 in the "Satisfaction Ranking with the Management and Operation of the Institution". Rector of BARU Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun was deemed worthy of the “UNIAR Outstanding Performance Award”.
In the study carried out by the University Research Laboratory (ÜniAr), the Türkiye University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) 2023 ranking was published. Evaluations were made in different categories with the data collected from 47 thousand 761 students studying in a total of 200 higher education institutions, 126 of which are state and 74 foundations. According to the 2023 TÜMA results, Bartın University (BARU) managed to increase its place in all categories.
BARU is increasing its place in the rankings every year
Centering on "Quality" with the understanding of "Sustainable Improvement", BARU rose to the 35th place in the "Universities General Satisfaction Ranking". In the evaluation made on this indicator, which lists 200 higher education institutions, BARU is in the 53rd place among 199 universities in 2022; In 2018, it was ranked 109th among 172 universities.In the "State Universities General Satisfaction Ranking", BARU was ranked 18th among 126 higher education institutions. BARU, which ranked 32nd among 126 universities in the past year, was 66th among 109 universities in 2018.BARU was among the top 5 state universities in the "Satisfaction Ranking with the Management and Operation of the Institution". BARU, which was ranked 12th among 126 universities in 2022, was ranked 58th among 109 higher education institutions in 2018 in this category, where it rose 7 steps at once.
Rector Uzun was awarded the “UNIAR Outstanding Performance Award”
In the TÜMA 2023 research, the “Rector Performance Evaluation Scale” consisting of 10 items was conducted to the students in order to evaluate the rector of the university they are studying at. In the research in which the students evaluated the rectors of the university they study, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun received the “UNIAR Outstanding Performance Bronze Award”.BARU has increased its place in the rankings by showing a significant improvement in the "Academic Support and Care", "Personal Development and Career Support", "Learning Opportunities and Richness of Resources", "Learning Experience Satisfaction" and "Campus and Satisfaction of Life" rankings of universities.
