The Rocket designed by our students has been to the final in TEKNOFEST

“Black Sea 1460 Rocket Team” of our students was chosen as the 6th among 90 teams in TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival Rocket Contest in medium altitude category KTR phase and was among the finalist teams.

Black Sea 1460 Rocket Team set up by 12 students studying at the Deparments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrics-Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and Management Information Systems achieved a great success.

With the rocket they developed, our students interested in space and aviation, have been chosen as one of the 90 teams among 158 participating teams in medium altitute category in TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival. Following that, the team has been the 6th among those 90 teams with the rocket they designed.

The goal of Black Sea 1460 Rocket Team, which will represent us in TEKNOFEST 2020 to be organized in Gaziantep Alleben Lake, is to be the first in their category in the contest.
