With the project of Bartın University supported by TÜBİTAK the use of boron acid optimization will be searched to increase the resistance of burning flakeboards (chipboards) from composite woods.

The project that is conducted by the Professor Doctor Abdullah İstek from the Department of Forest Industrial Engineering in the Faculty of Forestry at Bartın University (BARÜ) was supported within the context of TÜBİTAK 1002- Fast Grant Program. In the same department research assistant doctor İsmail Özlüsoylu attended as a researcher to the project called as “The Use of Boron Acid Optimization As the Delaying for Commercial Burning In The Production of Flakeboard,” and on this project there will be the enhancement of the burning resistance of chipboards with the use of boron acids, the commodification and attribution to the industry.
