The Historical Achievement from Şennur Demir who is Graduated at Bartın University

Şennur Demir (graduate student at Bartın University BARÜ) got golden medals with 81 kilos in the World Women’s Boxing Championship.

Şennur Demir who graduated from the Faculty of Sports Science and later got the master’s degree in the Department of Physical Education and Sports made a historic achievement. Şennur, who competed in the IBA World Women's Boxing Championship hosted by Istanbul defeated Moroccan Khaija Mardi in the final in +81 kg and brought the 5th gold medal to Turkey. Şennur, who got bronze medal in Astana in 2016, silver medal in New Delhi in 2018, finally got the golden medal in 2022.
