The digital transformation studies of the logistics sector to gain momentum with the project of our university

With the project prepared by our university, positive and negative factors affecting digitalization in the logistics sector will be identified and contributions to digital transformation studies will be presented.
 
The project led by Assistant Professor Sabahattin Çetin, who is a lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade and Logistics of our university,  was entitled to be supported within the scope of "TÜBİTAK 3005 - Innovative Solutions Research Projects Support Program in Social and Human Sciences". The project titled “Digital Transformation in the Logistics Sector: The Role of Dynamic Capabilities" aims to identify the positive and negative factors affecting digitalization in the logistics sector and to determine the impact of digitalization efforts in the sector on the performance of companies.
 
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tanyaş, from Maltepe University, Department of International Trade and Logistics also participated as a consultant in the project, from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, International Trade and Logistics Department of our University, Research Assistant Halil Karlı, Research Assistant Yunus Emre Topcu and Assoc. Prof. Ramazan Yılmaz, from the Faculty of Science, Department of Computer Technology and Information Systems will contribute as a researcher. Two scholarship students will also take part in the project.
