The 5th TESOL Türkiye Conference was hosted by BARÜ

The 5th TESOL Turkey Conference, hosted by Bartın University (BARÜ) with the theme "Embracing Differences: The Key to Inclusive Education", brought together foreign language education instructors.

This year's meeting of the English Language Teaching and Professional Development Association (TESOL) was held at the BARÜ Faculty of Education Conference Hall, under the leadership of Bartın University (BARÜ) Faculty of Education, Department of English Language Teaching. The conference, which aimed to draw attention to the importance of inclusive language education and raise awareness on this issue, was completed with ideas and discussions on how inclusivity in language education can be achieved and sample applications from various contexts.

130 educators who are experts in their fields from 7 countries and 14 provinces attended the event, where evaluations were made in different sessions lasting 3 days about the education and training processes in the field of foreign languages. With 35 different presentations on inclusive language education, equality and diversity in language learning, it was aimed to contribute to making language skills acquisition accessible to every student in our country.
