Students from BARU ranked in the top 3 in the cyber security competition

Bartın University (BARÜ) students achieved significant success by ranking among the top 3 in the Capture The Flag (CTF) cyber security competition held at the end of the "IoT Cyber ​​Security Training and CTF" event organized by Arçelik.

Arçelik organized the "IoT Cyber ​​Security Training and CTF" event with the aim of making the methods used by hackers recognized and using them for good purposes. On the first day of the two-day seminar, participants were given training on embedded, mobile applications and cloud security. On the second day, the Capture the Flag (CTF) competition was held, in which 50 people participated, who were selected among 600 applicants.

Bartın University (BARÜ) Engineering, Architecture and Design Faculty, Computer Engineering students, Adem Ziya Akkaya and Abdül Samed Doğan, and a graduate of Bartın Vocational School Computer Programming, Sefa Anar, who prepared for the competitions under the supervision of the coordinator of the “Bartın Siber ​​Vatan Project”, Asst. Prof. Dr. Eyüp Burak Ceyhan, achieved notable success by ranking in the top 3. With this result, our students have been given an internship opportunity in the Arçelik IoT Cyber ​​Security team as well as several awards.
