Rector Uzun Awarded ‘Honorary Professor’ Title in Uzbekistan

Bartın University (BARÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun has been awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" by Urgench State Pedagogical Institute in Uzbekistan for his contributions to science and humanity.

Continuing its mission of internationalization, Bartın University (BARÜ) is expanding its network of collaboration with globally respected universities while strengthening its educational and scientific presence. As part of this mission, Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yirmibeş traveled to Uzbekistan for academic engagements.

During their visit, they attended the conference on "Research in Educational Sciences in the Context of Globalization: Problems and Solutions" at Urgench State Pedagogical Institute.

Following the conference, a ceremony was held where Prof. Dr. Madraximova Feruza Ruzimbayevna, Rector of Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, presented Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun with the "Honorary Professorship" certificate. This prestigious title is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to their academic fields, demonstrating excellence in knowledge, research, and societal impact.
