Professor Dr. Ramazan Yılmaz received 2 important awards

Bartın University (BARÜ) Faculty of Science member Prof. Dr. Ramazan Yılmaz was given "TÜBA-GEBİP" and "100th Anniversary TÜBİTAK Incentive Award" at the ceremony held at the Presidential Complex.

The Science Awards Ceremony of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) was held at Beştepe Nation Congress and Culture Centre with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. At the ceremony, "TÜBA-GEBİP Outstanding Young Scientist" and "100th Anniversary TÜBİTAK Incentive Award" were given to Bartın University (BARÜ) Faculty of Science Computer Technology and Information Systems Department Head Professor Dr Ramazan Yılmaz by President Erdoğan.

Yılmaz, who is one of the 11 names from BARÜ in the list of "The World's Most Influential Scientists" held annually by Stanford University, was entitled to receive the TÜBA-GEBİP Award for his work in the field of Computer and Instructional Technologies in Social Sciences.

Expressing his happiness for the success achieved, Professor Dr Yılmaz stated that it was a pride to be deemed worthy of such valuable awards as a result of intense effort and teamwork.

BARÜ Rector Professor Dr Orhan Uzun congratulated Professor Dr Yılmaz, who made great efforts with his work to add value to the future and was deemed worthy of these awards and underlined that BARÜ strives to add value to the 'Turkey Century' with all its components.
