Our university among the "Patent Champions of Turkey" in 3 fields

Our university was among Turkey's Patent Champions in the categories of "Retail and E-commerce", "Finance" and "Artificial Intelligence" in the ranking in which 2021 was evaluated.

Our University, which has succeeded in increasing the number of patent applications and registrations every year, has been ranked high in the "Turkey's Patent Report - 2021" list published by Patentefect. In the inter-university evaluation included in the report, our University succeeded to rank 2nd in the Retail and E-commerce Category, 3rd in the Finance Category, and 6th in the Artificial Intelligence Category.

Noting that they are doing quality work at the point of producing new knowledge, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun said, “In today's world, where the importance of information is increasing day by day, studies that will raise awareness on patents, utility models and design are continuing at our University. With the R&D and Innovation projects carried out by academicians, researchers, and students at our University, where regular training is provided, our aim is to increase the competitiveness of the country.”
