Erasmus+ Adult Education project of our university has been completed

The closing meeting of the project named "Speak English MOOC- English Language MOOC to Improve Speaking Skills" was held under the coordination of Bartın University (BARÜ) with the participation of universities from Turkey, Spain and Austria.

Projects carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for European Union, European Union (EU) Education and Youth Programs Center Presidency within the scope of Erasmus+ Program Adult Education Strategic Partnerships (KA204) lasted for 3 years. Anadolu University from our country, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) from Spain, Best Institut Fur Berufsbezogene Weiterbildung & Personaltraining GMBH from Austria took part as partners in the project under the coordination of Bartın University (BARÜ).

The event, which was organized to share the works carried out within the scope of the project with the relevant stakeholders, was held at the Kutlubey Campus Library Conference Hall. The opening speech of the meeting held in hybrid format was given by BARU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahmakıran.
Within the scope of the meeting, the outputs of the project were shared with the participants from the local, national and international arena by the researchers involved in the project. Project coordinator Asst.Prof. Neslihan Köse and researchers RA. Betül Çimenli and  Inst. İlknur Civan from Anadolu University provided information about the project.

In the event held as a hybrid, BARU faculty member and Turkey Universities Continuing Education Centers Council (TÜSEM) President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Kaygın from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sedat Akayoğlu from Hacettepe University,Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ufuk Balaman from Greece, Dr. Maria Perifanou, from Izmir University of Economics, Asst.Prof. Donald Staub and Dr. Dave Cormier from Canadian University of Windsor  contributed to the meeting with various presentations on digitalization and foreign language teaching processes.
