BARU's Quotas Are Nearly 100% Filled, and Admission Scores Have Increased

With the announcement of the YKS-2024 results at Bartın University (BARU), nearly 100% of the quotas were filled, and university placement scores and rankings have risen.

The Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced the ‘YKS-2024 Central Placement Results.’ According to the results, 100% of BARU’s associate degree quotas and 95% of its bachelor’s degree quotas were filled. Thus, BARU achieved an overall occupancy rate of 97%. All quotas were filled in the Bartın Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Literature, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, Faculty of Health Sciences, Bartın Vocational School, Bartın Vocational School of Health Services, and Ulus Vocational School.
 
At BARU, 1,447 students were placed in associate degree programs, and 1,810 students were placed in bachelor's degree programs. As a result, a total of 3,257 students joined the BARU family, including school valedictorians and women over 34 years of age, for the 3,184 quotas allocated by the Higher Education Council (YÖK), excluding those who will join through the Graduate Education Institute applications, international student admissions, and special talent exams.
