BARÜ Student Clubs Secure Funding for Two Projects from ÜNİDES

Two student club projects from Bartın University (BARÜ) have received funding under the University Student Clubs Support Program (ÜNİDES).

The General Directorate of Youth Services under the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the results of the ÜNİDES Program, which aims to help students become more well-equipped both individually and socially. Within this scope, two student clubs at BARÜ—Metaverse Club and History Club—successfully secured funding for their projects.

The Metaverse Club received 50,000 TL for its project titled "Virtual Reality-Based Disaster Awareness Drill Simulation," coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Berk Üstün from the Faculty of Science, Department of Computer Technology and Information Systems.

Meanwhile, the History Club was granted 33,500 TL for its project "The Future Speaks to the Past" ("Ati Maziye Konuşuyor"), coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tunay Karakök from the Faculty of Literature, Department of History, to further develop their ideas.
