Bartın University keeps rising in the rankings

Bartın University rose 20 steps up among 108 public universities in Turkey and became the 24th in the ranking which is based on international publications.

The publications are listed through “Web of Science”. In the ranking, Bartın University ranked the 69th among 107 public universities in 2017; 44th among 107 public universities in 2018 and 24th among 108 public universities in 2019 based on the number of publications per academic.

An independent news portal published a ranking of public universities based on the number of international publications in journals indexed through “Web of Science”. Bartın University, which was 69th among 107 public universities in 2017 and 44th among 107 public universities in 2018, ranked 24th among 108 public universities in 2019 in number of publications per academic.

Our university was ranked based on its 125 international publications in 2017, and this number rose up to 178 in 2018 and 257 in 2019. Thus, the number of publications increased more than two times since 2017. And the number of publications increased 45% from 2018 to 2019.

Bartın University ranked the 3rd among 15 higher education institutions accepted for “Regional Development-oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project” by the Council of Higher Education.

Of the 18 public universities in the Black Sea, Bartın University ranked the 2nd.
