Bartın University focuses on future technologies

The scholars who continue their higher education at the top research universities in the world on behalf of Bartın University have been working on the technologies of the future, from artificial intelligence to automotive, from infrastructure to smart technologies.

A sustainable development focused on regional development is aimed at Bartın University, which has been awarded the right to specialize in the field of "Smart Logistics and Integrated Regional Applications" by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) within the scope of the "Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project". Within this scope, steps are also being taken to train qualified human resources at Bartın University, where studies are being carried out in the fields of "Smart Logistics", "Smart Port", "Smart Industry", "Smart Cities", "Smart Energy" and "Smart Health".

Bartın University maintains its preparations for new projects in line with its internationalization goals in the local by following the innovations in technology, from artificial intelligence to automotive, from infrastructure to smart technologies. While the steps taken in this direction are starting to bear fruit, the scholars who continue their postgraduate education in 7 different countries on behalf of Bartın University have already begun to contribute to the process. 26 PhD, 1 post doctoral and 2 MA students in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Lebanon, Malaysia and Jordan will continue their studies at Bartın University following their education.

At Bartın University, where the contact with the students abroad is maintained, meetings are held with the scholars who continue their education through different programs, especially the Graduate Education Scholarship (YLSY) of Ministry of National Education (MEB). In the online meetings attended by Bartin University Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun as well as the Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. Sevim Celik and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahmakıran, views are exchanged based on the specializations of the participants about possible sectors that may develop in the region within the scope of Filyos Valley Project, the future goals of our country, internationalization, quality and sustainability.
