Bartın University carries out pilot studies focusing on' Regional Development.'

During the meetings held with the participation of Prof. Orhan Uzun, the Rector of Bartin University, many issues such as region, quality, and sustainable developments were discussed.

Bartın University has taken significant steps to become a pioneering university in the region, where it is located in many fields such as science, culture, art, and administration. In this framework, opinions were discussed on many issues, primarily regional, quality, and sustainable developments, in meetings of the academic boards for a" Better Bartin University." With the participation of Prof. Orhan Uzun, meetings were also held at nine faculties, three vocational schools, the School of Foreign Languages, and the Graduate Institute of Education with the slogan of" We Succeed Together."

Touching upon the importance of the path that Bartın University has taken in the scientific field, Prof. Orhan Uzun stressed that they have been striving to continue this rise sustainably.

By referring to the importance of the studies carried out in terms of the goals determined with the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan of Bartın University, Prof. Uzun said that "We took decisive steps as a result of the work that we have carried out in terms of 'Sustainable Improvement and Quality through the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan."

Prof. Uzun also stated that as a university, they continue to work for regional development and that the ongoing studies through the goals of "Project-Based Learning" have brought essential achievements.
