14 Academics from BARÜ Ranked Among the "World's Most Influential Scientists"

Fourteen scientists from Bartın University (BARÜ) have made it onto Stanford University’s annual list of the world’s most influential scientists.

BARÜ academics continue to contribute to their respective fields and humanity through high-quality scientific research. Most recently, 14 BARÜ researchers were included in the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list, which ranks the top 2% of scientists worldwide. The list, compiled by Stanford University, was published by the Netherlands-based academic publishing company Elsevier.

The list features top academics from prestigious universities worldwide, including BARÜ faculty members. From the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahmakıran, Prof. Dr. Murat Rakap, Prof. Dr. Şuayip Yüzbaşı, Prof. Dr. Ramazan Yılmaz, Prof. Dr. Fatma Gizem Karaoğlan Yılmaz, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Altun, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Parham Taslimi, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan were recognized. From the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Design, Prof. Dr. Osman Gençel, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Cahit Karaoğlanlı, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azmi Erdoğan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Yaraş, and Dr. Shashanka Rajendrachari were included. Additionally, from the Vocational School of Health Services, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasin Özgürlük achieved global recognition.
