BARÜ's energy management studies are carried out at international standards

The compliance of Bartın University's (BARÜ) studies on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability with international quality standards has been registered with the Energy Management System Certificate.

Bartın University (BARÜ), which received the "Certificate of Excellence" in energy efficiency with the sustainable, nature-friendly and environmentally friendly projects implemented by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, has achieved another important success. In this context, BARÜ received the ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certificate from the Turkish Standards Institute (TSI) for its practices in the use of energy resources and continuous improvement of energy performance.

As a result of the evaluations, the compliance of BARÜ's efforts to manage energy consumption correctly, reduce costs and reduce environmental impact with quality standards was registered with the Energy Management System Certificate.

With the implemented practices, it was also aimed to disseminate the strategies of BARÜ, which is shown as an exemplary university among higher education institutions. At the online meeting held within the scope of Energy Week events, the studies carried out within the scope of the "Public Energy Saving Target" were explained to participants from different institutions.
