Bartın University (BARÜ) continues its international activities within the scope of the European Union-funded project titled “Modern Tools for the Documentation and Presentation of Cultural Heritage in Archaeology” (DigiArcheoSpace). In this context, current research, methods and practices related to digital archaeology and the preservation of cultural heritage were discussed at international conferences and training programmes held in Bulgaria.

Studies in Digital Archaeology Discussed at the International Conference

As part of the events, the “DigiArcheoSpace International Conference” was held in Sofia, hosted by SCAS (Student Computer Art Society), with the participation of researchers, educators and industry experts from Bulgaria, Türkiye, North Macedonia, Croatia and Romania. At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lale Özdemir Şahin and Assoc.
