BARU to Admit Students to Four New Associate Degree Programs

Yayın Tarihi : 10/07/2025
Following Bartın University’s (BARU) application to the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), four new associate degree programs focusing on the professions of the future will admit students for the first time in the 2025–2026 academic year.

BARU continues to expand its educational programs in the fields of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, information technologies, and digitalization in healthcare. In this context, as a result of BARU’s application to YÖK, the establishment of the Smart Infrastructure Technician Program within Ulus Vocational School was approved. Admission of students to this program — a new step toward sustainable urban development — was also authorized for this year.

Alongside the Smart Infrastructure Technician Program, student admission will also begin this year for the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Program and the Artificial Intelligence Operations Program at Bartın Vocational School, as well as the Telehealth Technician Program at Bartın Vocational School of Health Services — all of which were approved by YÖK in recent months. Each program will have a quota of 30 students and will be listed in the 2025–2026 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) preference guide.
