BARU aims to equip young individuals with disaster and emergency response skills

Through a TÜBİTAK-supported project at Bartın University (BARÜ), young individuals aged 18-24 will receive life-saving first aid training for emergency and disaster situations.

The project within the framework of "TÜBİTAK-1002-B Emergency Support Module," led by Assoc. Dr. Ayfer Bayındır Çevik from the Nursing Department of Bartın University (BARU) Faculty of Health Sciences, has been deemed deserving of support. As part of the project, titled "Life-Saving First Aid Initiatives in Disaster and Emergency Situations," training programs will be provided to young individuals between the ages of 18-24 who are registered with the Bartın Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, under the purview of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
