6 scientists affiliated to Bartın University have been listed among top scientists provided by people from Stanford University, Elsevier B.V. and SciTech Strategies Inc.

Elsevier B.V. of the Netherlands has puslished the list of top scientists, a study carried out together with people from Standford University and SciTech Strategies Inc. There are two categories in the list which are career-long and single year impact and it provides information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator.

In the list that includes data belonging to 2020, 190.063 scientists were listed. While Bartın University was in the list with 2 scientists last year, this year the number increased up to 6 scientists. Prof. Dr. Osman Gençel, Associate Prof. Abdullah Cahit Karaoğlanlı and Dr. Shashanka Rajendrachari from the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design; Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahmakıran and Dr. Parham Taslimi from the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences; Associate Prof. Ramazan Yılmaz from the Faculty of Education are listed.
