Significant Achievement by BARU Men’s Rugby Team

The Bartın University (BARU) Men’s Rugby Team secured fifth place at the European Universities Rugby Sevens Championship.
 
Hosted by Bilkent İhsan Doğramacı University and Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, the European Universities Rugby Sevens Championship brought together 10 men’s teams from various countries. The BARU Men’s Rugby Team won 4 out of its 6 matches, earning fifth place in Europe.
 
Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Ender Eyuboğlu and Research Assistant Mustafa Can Eser from BARU’s Graduate School, and coached by master’s student Yusuf Sarıçan, the team achieved a remarkable result in its first-ever participation in an international-level competition.
