At BARÜ, where approximately 100% of the quotas were filled, success scores and rankings have increased following the announcement of the 'YKS-2023 Central Placement Results.'

Bartın University (BARÜ) reached an occupancy rate of approximately 100% after the announcement of the 'YKS-2023 Central Placement Results' by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center (ÖSYM). A total of 2,043 students were placed in undergraduate programs, and 1,981 students were successful in associate degree programs at BARÜ. With these results, out of the 3,843 quotas allocated by the Higher Education Council (YÖK), including school valedictorians and female students over the age of 35, 4,024 individuals joined the BARÜ community, excluding those participating in special talent exams
.
Students from all 81 provinces of Turkey are now enrolled at BARÜ. Following the Central Placement Results, all departments of the Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Design, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Faculty of Sports Sciences at BARÜ have reached full capacity. Additionally, 100% capacity was achieved in six departments of the Faculty of Education.

Full capacity was also reached in programs at Bartın Vocational School, Bartın Health Services Vocational School, and Ulus Vocational School, where associate degree programs are offered.

BARÜ received 4,847 international student applications from 82 countries. The success achieved through practices implemented with a continuous improvement approach continues to elevate the interest of international students in BARÜ. In addition to students from all 81 provinces of Turkey, 1,777 international students from 72 different countries are currently studying at BARÜ. For the 2023-2024 Academic Year, three separate calls resulted in 4,847 international student applications from 82 different countries.
