10 Haziran 2025
Bartın University (BARÜ) is taking a significant step in preparing qualified professionals for the healthcare sector with the launch of its newly established “Tele-Health Technician” program, which will focus on the integration of digital technologies in health services.
Aligned with the future vision of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), which prioritizes digitalization and new technologies, BARÜ continues to advance its initiatives in this field. Within this scope, YÖK has approved the establishment of the Tele-Health Technician program under the Vocational School of Health Services. This development marks an important milestone in integrating advancements in information and communication technologies into the healthcare sector.
Tele-Health Technician: Fast and Easy Access to Healthcare Information
Expanding its academic and research capacities, BARÜ aims to equip students with the necessary competencies through innovative curricula that emphasize the use of digital health technologies. The new program is designed to ensure that graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of modern healthcare systems.
Through this program, patients will benefit from tele-health systems that enable remote access to healthcare services using communication and computer technologies. The role of tele-health technicians will be critical in identifying early changes in patients’ health data, ensuring timely interventions, reducing emergency room visits, and lowering hospitalization rates.
This initiative demonstrates BARÜ’s commitment to fostering innovation in healthcare education while contributing to the creation of a skilled workforce capable of addressing future challenges in digital health.
