BARÜ Ranks Among Türkiye’s Most Successful Universities in TÜBİTAK ARDEB Scientific Research Performance Evaluations
The “University-Based ARDEB Support Statistics” were announced by the TÜBİTAK Research Support Programs Presidency (ARDEB). Bartın University (BARÜ) achieved significant success in the list prepared based on data from the 2021–2025 period. BARÜ ranked 8th among state universities according to its support rate and 4th among state universities established after 2000.
In the evaluation based on TÜBİTAK’s “University-Based ARDEB Support Statistics” data, BARÜ’s progress in research and project development drew attention. During the 2021–2025 period, BARÜ submitted a total of 343 project proposals to ARDEB programs. With 79 of these projects qualifying for support, the university’s support rate reached 23.03 percent. Thus, BARÜ once again demonstrated that it has a strong research capacity among state universities.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya emphasized that BARÜ will continue to rank among Türkiye’s leading universities through its work in research and project development. Rector Akkaya congratulated the academics who contributed to this achievement through their dedicated efforts and wished them continued success in their work.
