Protocol Signed Between BARÜ and Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute of Uzbekistan

A cooperation protocol in education was signed between Bartın University (BARÜ) and Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute (SHDPI) of Uzbekistan.

In line with its internationalization vision, Bartın University (BARÜ) continues to strengthen its educational, research, and academic collaborations. Most recently, BARÜ added a new international partnership by signing a protocol with Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute (SHDPI), one of the leading higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. The protocol, covering academic and scientific cooperation, was signed by BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and SHDPI Rector Prof. Dr. Mash’al Saidov.

Under the protocol, the two universities will carry out joint activities in the fields of education, research, and institutional development. Cooperation will be established in undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral-level educational activities, scientific research, the training of academic and administrative staff, and the organization of international scientific events. In accordance with the agreement, academics traveling to Uzbekistan will also be provided with a certain amount of financial support.

BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya stated that they continue to develop new partnerships in line with their internationalization goals, saying: “As Bartın University, through the collaborations we establish with higher education institutions in different countries, we provide new opportunities for our students and academics. I believe that this protocol, which we have signed with Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute, one of the important educational institutions of Uzbekistan, will make significant contributions to scientific production, academic development, and cultural interaction.”
