With the project of BARÜ, furniture will be produced in accordance with human health

With the project of Bartın University (BARÜ) supported by TÜBİTAK, research will be carried out to prevent the emission of formaldehyde gas, which is harmful to health in furniture.

The project prepared by Research Assistant Dr İsmail Özlüsoylu from Bartın University (BARÜ) Bartın Faculty of Forestry Department of Forestry Industrial Engineering was accepted within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1002-A Rapid Support Module. The project titled “Microencapsulation of Urea and Its Use as a Formaldehyde Retainer in Particle Board Production” it is aimed to eliminate harmful emissions from particle boards (chipboard), which have widespread use.
