Rector Akkaya Attends Reception Marking the Opening of Parliament’s New Legislative Year

Bartın University (BARÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya attended a reception hosted by Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT).
A reception was held to mark the opening of the fifth legislative year of the 28th parliamentary term of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT). Hosted by Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş at Parliament’s Ceremonial Hall, the event was attended by Bartın University (BARÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya, who represented the University. The reception brought together members of parliament, senior officials, representatives of civil society organisations, and numerous guests from public institutions and organisations.
During the reception, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya met with GNAT Speaker Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş and extended his best wishes for a successful new legislative year.
Rector Akkaya stated: “I hope that the legislative work to be carried out under the roof of our historic Parliament, which embodies the will of the nation, will contribute to our country’s development, strengthen our unity and solidarity, and advance our national goals. I would like to thank the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş, for his invitation and warm hospitality, and wish our esteemed members of parliament a productive and successful legislative year.”
