Bartin University at a conference themed ‘Karabakh’

Bartin University (BARU) Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun and his associates attended 7th International Congress on Social Sciences organized with the theme of ‘Karabakh’ and held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

At the congress held under the auspices of Grand National Assembly of Turkey and National Assembly of Azerbaijan and organized by ADA University and International Balkan University, the theme was chosen as ‘Karabakh’.

Rectors, academic members, guests and students from different universities participated in the congress in which the opening speeches were given by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sentop, the president of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Sahibe Gafarova, the president of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, and Emin Emrullayev, the Minister of Education.
Commenting on the activities held, Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun, the Rector of BARU, addressed the strategical significance of the issues referred within academy and pointed out the initiatives aiming to increase the employment in the region.
