Rector Akkaya Pays Congratulatory Visit to Yunus Emre Institute President Argun

Bartın University (BARU) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya paid a congratulatory visit to Prof. Dr. Selim Argun on his appointment as President of the Yunus Emre Institute (YEE).
Efforts are ongoing to strengthen cooperation between the Yunus Emre Institute (YEE), which carries out activities to promote the Turkish language and culture to wider audiences across different regions of the world, and Bartın University (BARU). In this regard, BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya visited Prof. Dr. Selim Argun, who was appointed President of YEE, to extend his congratulations on his new position.
During the visit, Rector Akkaya and YEE President Argun exchanged views on further enhancing ongoing initiatives in education, culture, and academia. The meeting also addressed the Turkish Summer School program conducted at BARU in cooperation with YEE. It was emphasized that the program, which provides students from different countries with opportunities to improve their Turkish language skills and gain a deeper understanding of Turkish culture, represents a significant example of cooperation between the two institutions.
Rector Akkaya congratulated President Argun on his new appointment and wished him success in his future endeavors.
President Argun, in turn, thanked Rector Akkaya for his kind visit.
The visit concluded with discussions on strengthening existing cooperation between BARU and YEE and implementing new joint initiatives.
