Wasted Paddy Glume will turn highly added-value products

It aims to produce highly added-value papers and green (environmentalist) chemicals from wasted paddy glume with accepted TÜBİTAK project of Bartın University.

In Bartın University Faculty of Forest, the department of Forest Industry Engineering the directing figure Associate Professor Sezgin Koray and the researchers Associate Professor Ayhan Gençer and Associate Professor Koray Gülsoy achieved to take scholarship within the name of “the production of paper and lignin with green chemistries from paddy glume.” In the support of TÜBİTAK 1002- Fast Support Program, the project will have research about the sustainable environment (wasting, recycling, the effects of damages and their prevention) from the priority fields in TÜBİTAK and it will also search how wasted paddy glume turns into the highly added-value products.
