Two Scientists from Bartın University are listed among “Top Scientists of the World”

Two researchers from Bartın University are listed among the “Top Scientists”, a study carried out in collaboration with researchers from Stanford University in the USA and Elsevier B.V., the Netherlands.

The "Top Scientists of the World” are published in the PLOS Biology Journal. Scientists having a minimum of 5 publications between 1996-2019 were listed in the study among which 196 were scientists from Turkey. In the study, which measured the studies of 100 thousand scientists from all around the World, 2 scientists from our university are listed. Prof. Dr. Osman Gencel, at the Department of Civil Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, ranked the 217th among 566 academics listed under “Building and Construction”. Dr. Parham Taslimi, at the Department of Biotechnology under the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, ranked the 77th among 1756 academics ranked under “Medical and Biomolecular Chemistry"
