Thousands of students experienced the pride of graduating from BARU

In the 14th year of its establishment, Bartın University (BARU) witnessed 3 thousand 990 undergraduate and two-year degree students graduate with glorious ceremonies.

Bartın University (BARU) Graduation Ceremonies for the 2021-2022 Academic Year were held with great enthusiasm. Numerous people from 81 provinces of Turkey and many countries participated in two separate ceremonies held at Kutlubey Campus Indoor Sports Facility.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Governor of Bartin province, Nurtaç Arslan, said they witnessed more achievements at Bartın University in its 14th year.

Bartin province deputy Yılmaz Tunç made a speech regarding the contributions of the university to Bartin and our country and stated that "I would like to thank everyone for making us proud in many fields, varying from science to sports".

BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun also pointed out that graduation is a new beginning and congratulated the graduate students and their families.

In two separate ceremonies at the Kutlubey Campus Indoor Sports Facility, the top-ranking student from the Department of Psychology within the Faculty of Letters, Tuğba Deniz, and another top-ranking student from the two-year degree program of Vocational School of Hair Care within the Vocational Health High School, Vedat Sevcan made a speech and nailed plaque with their names on the graduation log.

The graduation oath was taken in the ceremony where the certificates of achievement were given to those winning degrees in their faculties and vocational schools. Great enthusiasm was experienced with the throwing of caps together with the countdown. Following the ceremonies ending with a cap-throwing, students immortalized the moment by taking photos.
