Thousands of BARÜ students threw their caps in a jubilant ceremony

Bartın University (BARÜ) graduated its associate and undergraduate students with a grand ceremony attended by thousands of people, marking the 16th year of the university's establishment.

At the Batın University (BARÜ) 2023-2024 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony, students who completed successfully their undergraduate and associate degree programs experienced the pride of graduation. Nearly 4,000 BARÜ students graduated from 9 faculties and 3 vocational schools

The ceremony, held at the Kutlubey Campus Graduation Event Area, was attended by over 10,000 people from all over Turkey. BARÜ students, along with their families, friends, relatives, and professors, joyfully celebrated their graduation on this momentous day.

Students who crowned their achievements with degrees were rewarded.

During the ceremony, which was closely followed by a large audience, the university's top student was Meltem Saatçı, an English Translation and Interpretation student from the Faculty of Arts. The second place went to Ömer Faruk Sıvacı, a student from the Department of International Trade and Logistics in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and the third place was awarded to Sedef Nur Üstünkul, a student from the Department of Information and Documentation Management in the Faculty of Arts.

In the associate degree programs, the first place was awarded to Sevde Dinç, a student from the Organic Agriculture Program at Bartın Vocational School. The second place went to Saffet Muhammed Zeybek from the Computer Programming Program at Bartın Vocational School, and the third place was awarded to Buse Maden from the Hair Care and Beauty Services Program at Bartın Health Services Vocational School.

After the presentation of success certificates and awards, thousands of BARÜ students recited the graduation oath in unison. Following the ceremony, the young graduates of BARÜ enjoyed the moment by throwing their caps into the air in a traditional cap-throwing ceremony, accompanied by a countdown.
