“The Smart Energy Laboratory” was established at our University

“The Smart Energy Laboratory” was established within the scope of “Qualified Engineers of the Future grow at Bartın University” project supported by the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA) of our University.
 
The project, which was entitled to receive support within the scope of the 2020 Industry and Environmental Infrastructure Financial Support Program announced by BAKKA, was successfully completed. Based on that the opening of the “The Smart Energy Laboratory”, which was prepared in the Kutlubey Campus of our University, was held.
 
Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abid USTAOĞLU provided information about the laboratory that was opened, and he gave a speech titled “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy”. Referring to the rapid progress of technology and the data of energy consumption, USTAOĞLU talked about the efforts to develop efficient energy consumption systems and increase the use of renewable energy. 
 
Mentioning the importance of the project that aims to train qualified engineers in the field of energy and the laboratory established in this context, Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan UZUN said, “Our University, which specializes in Smart Logistics and Integrated Region Applications, has gained another laboratory that will contribute to its studies in this field.” Rector UZUN also stated that “I would like to thank all of our shareholders and components who contributed to the realization of this project and to raise our students, who are our priority, as qualified individuals.”
