The phenomenon of reluctancy in organ donations will be examined in different aspects

The project prepared by Bartın University (BARÜ) intends to develop an effective donation program by examining the phenomenon of reluctance regarding organ donation, which thousands of patients are hopefully waiting for.

The project, led by Assoc. Dr. Hicran Karatas from Bartin University (BARU), Faculty of Letters, Sociology Department, was found eligible for the support under the "Research Projects Support Program for Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities." Via the project titled "Determination of Cultural, Folkloric Causes of the Phenomenon of Reluctancy in Organ Donations from Cadavers and Lives," an effective organ donation is intended to develop by examining the reluctance regarding organ donation.
