The Number of Accredited Programs at BARÜ Increases to 19

Bartın University (BARU) has successfully increased the number of accredited programs across seven faculties to 19, as a result of its ongoing efforts in quality and accreditation.

Bartın University (BARU) continues to take important steps to certify the quality brought by its institutional culture in educational activities. Most recently, five engineering programs in the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Design, as well as the Faculty of Forestry at Bartın University, have been successfully accredited by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs.

During the the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs’ accreditation process, the engineering programs were evaluated based on various criteria such as education, research and development, physical infrastructure, laboratory facilities, and the qualifications of the academic staff. As a result of these evaluations, the Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs from the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Design, and the Forest Engineering and Forest Industrial Engineering programs from the Faculty of Forestry at BARU were accredited for a period of two years.

Thus, the BARU engineering programs have received the EUR-ACE label through their accreditation, confirming their adherence to international high standards.
