At Bartın University (BARÜ) the system that automatically provides to change the battery of UAV (the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) on the movable earth station was developed.

The invention called with “The System of Automatic Shifting Battery for UAV (the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)” developed by assistant professors at Bartın University (BARÜ) achieved to be patented by Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. With the invention developed by the Assistant Professor Harun Yetkin and Assistant Professor Emin Aktan from the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Designing, the batteries of UAV (the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) were provided to be changed on the movable earth station without the intervention of humans. In this way, there are alternative solutions that UAV (the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) started to work without losing any information on the places like hilly and rural areas.
