The BARÜ family met at the traditional iftar program

The academic and administrative human resources of Bartın University (BARÜ) and their families came together at the traditional iftar program.
An iftar program was organized at the Bartın University (BARÜ) Kutlubey Campus, where the spirit of unity, togetherness, and solidarity of the month of Ramadan was shared. At the traditional iftar program, which was held with the intense participation of university staff and their families, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya visited the tables before iftar and chatted with the guests.
The program began with a recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Mirzaoğlu from the Faculty of Theology. Afterwards, Rector Akkaya delivered a speech expressing his satisfaction with being together with the BARÜ family at the iftar table.
Stating that the month of Ramadan is a special time that strengthens the feelings of sharing, solidarity, and brotherhood, Rector Akkaya said, “We are together for the first time with you at this iftar table, which has become a tradition at our university.
Ramadan is a special month in which sharing, solidarity, patience, and brotherhood are felt in the strongest way. Working toward the same goals and working shoulder to shoulder under the roof of the same institution makes the unity and togetherness—one of the most important values that Ramadan reminds us of—even more meaningful. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our esteemed academic and administrative staff, our university is moving further ahead every day in education, science, and social contribution, and is carrying out work that makes a name for itself. I believe that in the upcoming period, we will continue to build a stronger Bartın University together, which increases scientific production, adds value to its students, and contributes to our beautiful Bartın.”
