The seventh 'R&D Project Market' organized by BARU is uniting science and technology enthusiasts, creating excitement and anticipation.
Bartın University (BARÜ) is hosting the 7th R&D Project Market to engage science and technology enthusiasts. The event aims to raise awareness and inspire young individuals to focus on advancements that will shape their future. This year, for the first time since 2017, the event is being organized at an international level. The 7th R&D Project Market is being held with the cooperation and participation of Hazar University and Azerbaijan Technical University from Azerbaijan, International University of Sarajevo from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Putra University from Malaysia, and Samarkand State Architecture and Construction University from Uzbekistan. While initially established as one of the most significant science and technology events in the region, the event has now broadened its scope to contribute to the national and international science and technology landscape.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is October 11, 2024.
The project proposals for the event, which focus primarily on BARÜ's specialization area of 'Smart Logistics and Integrated Regional Applications,' can be submitted through the website 'projepazari.bartin.edu.tr' until October 11, 2024. The preliminary evaluation results will be announced on October 18, 2024. The festival will be held on November 7-8, 2024, at the BARÜ Kutlubey Campus, where a total of 285,000 TL will be awarded to the top-ranked project owners based on evaluations conducted by the Scientific Committee consisting of academics and industry representatives.
The project owners will be meeting with industry representatives.
The event is intended to contribute to the development of science and technology. The projects will be presented over a period of two days. Visitors from diverse backgrounds will have the chance to learn about the projects during the sessions, and project owners will have the opportunity to meet industry representatives. This will create an environment for project financing and for turning them into high value-added products through networking.

The themes for the 7th International R&D Project Market event organized by BARÜ have been determined and published by the Scientific Committee, which is composed of representatives from various universities and industries. The goal of the event is to raise awareness about technology and innovation in society on a global scale.
In this context, the main themes include "Smart Materials and Industrial Applications", “Smart Health Technologies”, "Smart Technologies", “Cloud Technology", "Big Data and Analytics", "Digital Transformation", "Energy Technologies", Additive Manufacturing", "Chemical Technologies", "Internet of Things", "Autonomous Robots", "Cybersecurity", "Simulation", "Sustainable Environment and Urbanism", and "Horizontal and Vertical System Integration". Additionally, project proposals will also be accepted in the High School Category for the 7th International R&D Project Market.
