Support from ÜNİDES for the innovative projects of BARÜ student clubs

Six projects by student clubs at Bartın University (BARÜ) have been entitled to receive support within the scope of the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES).

The 6th term application results of the Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES), which supports inclusive, applicable, and sustainable projects for the development of youth by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, General Directorate of Youth Services, have been announced. Within the scope of the ÜNİDES program, six innovative and social benefit-oriented projects of Bartın University (BARÜ) student clubs succeeded in being supported.

Among the student clubs operating at BARÜ, the projects titled “Start in Bartın (Start-B): Young Entrepreneurs Training and Ideathon” by the Volunteering Club and “Pixel Craft: Artificial Intelligence Hackathon in Game Technologies” by the Cybersecurity and Intelligent Systems Club (SİBERAS) made their mark among the projects supported at the national level.

The projects “Reality in the Post-Truth Era: Algorithms and Us” by the Bartın Fight Against Disinformation Club, “Young Pioneers of the Skies: Rocket and UAV Workshop” by the Bartın University Aviation and Space Club, “Mini Mini Miniatures: Meeting Traditional Art in Village Schools” by the Visual Arts Club, and the “10th National Management Information Systems Student Summit” by the Management Information Systems Society received support at the local level.

Stating that ÜNİDES provides significant contributions in terms of developing the competencies of youth and enabling them to gain experience in different fields, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya congratulated the student clubs whose projects were entitled to be supported and their academic advisors.
