Students at BARU received two awards for their domestic electric car

An electric car named Simurg V2, created by Bartin University (BARU) students domestically, received two awards at TUBITAK Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle within the scope of TEKNOFEST competitions.

Bartin University (BARU) Science and Technology Club students have achieved another success. Students participating in the Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races which was held in Kocaeli province received two awards by successfully completing dynamic driving tests and technical controls with Simurg V2 cars. The electric car, which was entirely produced domestically, was presented with the "Technical Design Award" and the "Promotion and Dissemination Award." TÜBITAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal presented the awards to the Science and Technology Club students. It was also stated that Simurg V2 was one of the most efficient vehicles.
