Renowned Hair Stylist Sabit Akkaya Meets with Students at BARÜ

At Bartın University (BARÜ), renowned hair stylist Sabit Akkaya met with students, sharing his professional experiences and demonstrating haircutting techniques in a hands-on session.
An event was organized at Bartın University (BARÜ) in cooperation with the Hair Care and Beauty Services Program of Bartın Vocational School of Health Services and the Career Planning Application and Research Center. The program, featuring Sabit Akkaya as a guest, attracted strong interest from participants coming from different cities, industry representatives, and students.
The event, held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Education on the Kutlubey Campus, began with a video presentation on Sabit Akkaya’s professional journey. The subsequent talk was moderated by Ebru Adalı from the Communication Coordination Office, during which Akkaya shared his experiences and offered valuable advice to young people. In addition, students who had completed internships with Akkaya’s team within the scope of the 3+1 workplace training model implemented for associate degree students at BARÜ were invited to the stage. The importance of gaining professional experience through the master–apprentice relationship was emphasized.
BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya also expressed his gratitude to Sabit Akkaya for his supportive approach toward young people through the workplace training model.
Following the Q&A session, the program continued with a live haircut demonstration performed on selected models from among the participants. Students had the opportunity to observe the techniques used during the haircutting process in practice and reinforce their theoretical knowledge.
