Rector Akkaya Visits Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security Aydın

Bartın University (BARÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan paid a visit to Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Attorney Ahmet Aydın.

Bartın University (BARÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya visited Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Attorney Ahmet Aydın, at his office. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan accompanied Rector Akkaya during the visit. The meeting focused on cooperation opportunities aimed at developing a qualified workforce, preparing students for working life, and supporting their career planning. Rector Akkaya provided Deputy Minister Aydın with information about the student-centered initiatives carried out at BARÜ and the university’s employment-supporting practices.

The parties also discussed ongoing projects aimed at enhancing student employment through cooperation with the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), as well as potential new initiatives that could be implemented in the coming period.

Rector Akkaya expressed his gratitude to Deputy Minister Aydın for his efforts and contributions to supporting young people’s career development and employment processes.

Deputy Minister Aydın emphasized that collaborations with higher education institutions play a significant role in promoting youth employment and thanked Rector Akkaya and Vice Rector Ceylan for their courteous visit.
